When can it help?
- Neck pain and tension ;
- Back and lower back pain ;
- Muscle tension around the shoulder, hip, knee or foot ;
- Muscle pain and stiffness ;
- Recovery after sporting activity ;
- Certain types of discomfort associated with a scar;
- Repetitive strain injuries ;
- Carpal tunnel syndrome.
We offer three types of massage, tailored to your difficulties and goals. The techniques and pressure used are chosen according to your situation and sensitivity.
Remedial Massage
Muscle tension can cause pain in the affected area or pain felt elsewhere in the body. Assessment and palpation help us identify sensitive areas and adapt your treatment.
Remedial massage aims to reduce tension and pain to make movement easier. Depending on your needs, we use different techniques: classic massage, trigger point work, deep tissue massage or techniques targeting the affected tissues.
Pressure may be gentle or deeper, depending on your tolerance. Treatment can be complemented by stretching, mobility exercises and advice to help you continue your rehabilitation at home.
Sports Massage
Sports massage supports active people with their physical preparation and recovery after exercise. It is suitable for athletes of all levels, as well as people experiencing muscle tension related to their activities.
Before treatment, we assess your difficulties and areas of tension. We then adapt the techniques and pressure, which may be deeper than in classic massage, while respecting your sensitivity.
The aim is to release muscle tension and improve your comfort. When recovering from an injury, massage can complement a physiotherapy programme and a gradual return to training.
Scar Massage
Following surgery or an injury, a scar may be sensitive, feel tight or restrict movement in the affected area.
Once the wound has healed, and in accordance with your doctor’s instructions, we can offer appropriate manual treatment. Gradual pressure and mobilisation aim to improve the flexibility of the scar and surrounding tissues.
The goal is to reduce discomfort and make everyday movements easier. We can also show you techniques to use at home to support this work.
